Ah the kettlebell swing! Since CrossFit has come along, nearly everyone is now familiar with the Kettlebell swing. While this could be a good thing, it’s also led to many folks grabbing the “RX” kettlebells of 16kg for the ladies, and 24kg for the guys thinking “its Rx, so it must be the right one!” We dive into why that thought process is keeping you from getting the results you want and deserve, as well as why lifting heavy sh!t to “develop power” should be at least a few weeks away for those who have not been doing heavy strength training consistently the last 12+ months.
